Finally a Quad Core processor from AMD, it was unveiled yesterday and the soon to be launch AMD Phenom processor is the true Quad Core processor, unlike its rival - intel that fuse two Dual Core processor into the same die and market it as Quad Core, AMD on the other hand manage to design and built a true Quad processor on a single die, making it the first for the desktop world.
According to AMD's road map, 8 Core processor is on the horizon, making their bigger rival Intel look bad. AMD has always enjoyed a great bond with the enthusiast community, and the introduction of the AMD Phenom processor family will take our relationship to new heights.
